Becca first began working in the youth sexual health field as an MSW Intern with the Denver Public Schools Teen Parent Program providing support and counseling for pregnant and parenting students. Her second MSW Internship was with Colorado Youth Matter where she helped develop and conduct research for the statewide document Youth Sexual Health in Colorado: A Call to Action. Her involvement with this project led her to work for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to plan the statewide launch event of the Call to Action. She returned to Colorado Youth Matter team as a staff member in 2012, and now coordinates all evaluation activities and research projects for the organization, including the annual State of Adolescent Sexual Health (SASH) Report. Becca received a BA in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Denver.
