Policy and Research Intern
Susan Baughman is a Master’s of Social Work student at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work. Susan first became interested in the sexual health field while earning her undergraduate degree at Loyola University of New Orleans. At Loyola she studied Sociology and Women’s Studies while interning at the Women’s Resource Center. Post-graduation, she held various positions in New Orleans that focused on and advocated for women’s health, sexual assault prevention, and research on women. Susan also has experience working directly with youth. In her first year of graduate school she interned for Denver Public School’s Office of Family and Community Engagement. She worked in a non-traditional high school with youth and parents on school engagement and attendance. Susan is a certified sexual assault advocate.
