Happy Thanksgiving from Colorado Youth Matter!
By Andrea Miller, Executive Director

This year in particular, we find ourselves digging deep to reflect on what's important to our communities, our families, and to ourselves. With some of us still reeling from the impact of recent events, it's easy to become lost in the confusion and clutter of social media, the news and conversations around the water cooler. The need to give thanks seems more important than ever this Thanksgiving. It's important to take time to relax and enjoy each other's company during the holidays. Consider this Thanksgiving a reset for the soul.
I want to take a moment of your time to tell you just a few of the things we at Colorado Youth Matter are thankful for.
We are thankful for our partners.
You make this important work come to life. Through the time we spend together in training, networking, and working towards our goals of providing high-quality sexual health education, resources and services, we see your passion for your work and the students you serve. We will continue to support you to build strong communities and serve as leaders in comprehensive sex education. We will work to expand our outreach with fresh, innovative programming and become a stronger community voice. Thank you.
We are thankful for our donors.
Your impact is felt far and wide throughout the over 40 partner organizations, both schools and clinics, served by Colorado Youth Matter. Your gifts communicate that you feel this work is important. You have invested something precious with us and with that, are able to meet your expectations to produce high-quality programming for our communities. We appreciate your commitment to our work and will work tirelessly to honor your trust in what we do. Please know, your ongoing support of Colorado Youth Matter is making a difference. Thank you.
We are thankful for our Board of Directors.
We have a dynamic group of devoted volunteers leading the charge at Colorado Youth Matter. Your guidance and strategic direction will assure the sustained growth of our organization. The Board of Directors is committed to maintaining and creating meaningful relationships with funders, legislators and other like-minded nonprofit organizations. This positive mindset provides infinite potential to increase capacity, sustainability, and advance youth sexual health. Thank you.
I am thankful for the staff and volunteers of Colorado Youth Matter.
While I have only been here a short time, it's easy to see the dedication and passion our staff has for our mission. Our team seamlessly executes the strategic and operational aspects of our organization to provide the best support possible for the clinics and schools we serve. This enthusiastic team is determined to make a difference. Each one of them cares deeply about our partners, supporters, and the youth our work impacts. Thank you.
There is much to be thankful for. The support from our community is overwhelming and humbling. Volunteers, staff, sponsors, donors and partners make up this wonderful system we have created at Colorado Youth Matter. Thank you for being a part of it.
Throughout this holiday season, I hope you find peace and comfort in family, friends, and community. Happy Thanksgiving!
