After the passing of Mr. John Johnson, a respected Baha’i pioneer, four of his students – Charles, David, Simon, and Isaac – came together to honor his memory and legacy. They arranged a memorial service attended by people from Africa, Europe, America, and Canada, who shared inspiring stories. After the service, the four brainstormed ways to honor Mr. Johnson’s legacy, such as creating a scholarship, establishing a community center or library, or organizing an annual event. Motivated by the impact and legacy of Mr. Johnson and other prominent Baha’i pioneers, the group plans to establish scholarships, monuments, workshops, libraries, and more. Some of the initiatives include the development of Samandari’s Garden, The Ursula Teaching Project, The Sima Schola Presentation, and The Johnson’s Library.
